About the association
Islam in Australia has an annual growth rate of 275% and it is the fastest growing religion in the world. As a result there was great demand in our society for the dedication of one body that would cater for the needs for the new Muslims and through this ANMA was established some one and a half years ago. ANMA is part of a wider organisational structure catering for the needs of Muslims in Australia under the name “United Muslims of Australia” (UMA).
Services include a youth centre, a printing facility, I.T support, public relations as well as others. The sincerity of our brothers and sisters at the time of ANMA’s conception saw a real need to join the effort our community was already involved in, with supporting and guiding the new Muslims.
ANMA is made up of brothers and sisters from many different ethnic backgrounds and from different parts of Sydney, and welcomes the united support of all in our community. Some of those in the Association were once new Muslims, and bring a wealth of experience to this effort. Inshaa Allah we aim with your help to exceed the expectations of the new brothers and sisters and to propagate Islam as guidance to Humankind. We want to take the new Muslim from a position of peculiarity to being a competent thinking Muslim in an Islamic and professional manner.
